Blog with Us

Are you passionate about upcycling and repurposing? Can you inspire others to reuse what they have? Can you teach others how to complete an upcycling craft or DIY project? If that sounds like you then we would love to work with you.

What sort of pieces?

  • How to guides on specific upcycling projects – this can be text with lots of high quality photos (including the crucial before & after!) or video instructions.
  • Inspiration pieces – List style posts, e.g. Top 10 ways to Upcycle a…. or Top 20 Upcycles for your Kitchen, etc

Word limit?

Nope. Not if the writing is clear and the photos/videos are on topic and of good quality.

Experience?

We are interested in the quality of the piece and how interested our readers will be in the content not how many followers or likes you have. Just starting out? We love championing up and comers so feel free to get in touch.

Payment?

Yes and No. We know the value of an SEO backlink and for new bloggers that will be one of the key draws to working with us as well as the increased exposure as we focus our energy on growing our readership and you focus on what you do well – upcycling and blogging about it!

We do have a small cohort of paid freelance bloggers for the site which will likely grow as we do but we would only consider adding you to this list if we had already worked with you and seen that our audience responded well to your pieces. Feel free to get in touch for a chat about this!

Credit?

Absolutely! 100%. We will always credit bloggers with their work as well as linking back to your website and/or social account (whatever you prefer). So you will always get the SEO backlink and you can refer to yourself as a blogger for Upcycle My Stuff.

If you feel you need more questions answered send us an email at info@upcyclemystuff.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
