Easy Steps to Make a NO-SEW Dog Bed

Here I’ve got an easy DIY dog bed tutorial for you. I’m going to show you how to make a dog bed without any sewing in a quick, cheap, and simple way.

Materials Used:  DIY No-Sew Dog Bed

– Upcycled Cardboard Box – Scissors – Pen/Pencil – Wrapping Paper/Wall Paper – Double Sided Tape – Hot Glue

Step 1: Cut the Box

Using your pair of scissors and/or craft knife, cut the top flaps and the front half off the box, just like in the picture below.

Step 2: Wrap the Box With Your Chosen Paper

Cover the box using  double-sided tape (and hot glue where necessary) to stick it on. You will need big pieces and some long strips here and there.

Step 3: Add Padding

Add some more if it doesn’t reach the edges; you don’t want to leave too much space around the sides. You can use a pillow, cushion, or stuffing wrapped in fabric for this step.

The last step is to add a soft or fluffy layer on top of the pillow/cushion as the dog bed cover. Great materials for this are fleece blankets, cotton sheets, or old pieces of fabric.

Step 4: Add a Fur Mat or Blanket

I have seen some weird and wonderful no-sew dog beds made from all sorts of containers, from suitcases to old baskets and drawers to planters!

Tip 1: It Doesn’t Have To Be A Cardboard Box!
