Create a Wall Hanging Out of Jars for Your Vacant Wall

I know you love a good upcycling project just as much as I love making them! This one uses the ever-versatile jar to make a jar craft that you can hang on your wall.

Materials Used:  Jar Craft

– Cardboard – Craft Paper – Artificial Stems/Leaves – Jar – Glue Stick – Twine

Step 1: Prepare the Cardboard

The first thing I did was cut and measure four pieces of cardboard, all to the same size.

Step 2: Wrap The Cardboard

I chose a neutral-colored paper, but you can choose any color, pattern, or texture like I did when I made my DIY journal. You could even get a free sample of wallpaper to use.

Step 3: Prep The Jar

Now, you need to arrange your stems or flowers in the jar. Have a play around at this stage, and make sure you’re happy with the composition before you glue each of the stems to the bottom of the jar.

Glue the twine in place before you start winding it around, and then tuck the end in at the back of the jar and add a blob of glue to make sure it doesn’t come unwound.

Step 4: Wrap Twine Around the Neck of the Jar

Next up, I needed to figure out a way to make a loop so it would hang on the wall, so I used twine and glued it to the back of the cardboard.
