Simple DIY Tea Organizer To Store Your Stash

Learn how to make a simple tea organizer out of items upcycled from around your home.

Materials Used:  Tea Organizer

– Patterned paper – Sellotape – Cardboard – Scissors – Plastic Box

Step One: Cover the Sides

Measure the length, width, and depth of your plastic box. My box measured roughly 30cm long, 15cm wide, and about 8cm deep.

Step Two: Trace the Base

Next, I covered the base of my DIY tea bag organizer. I wasn’t bothered by the fact that this part wasn’t double-sided because you can’t see the underside of the box.

Step Three: Make The Dividers

Once the box was covered, I cut out three dividers from cardboard. I just used the measurements I took earlier to make sure the width of the panels was the right size.

Before inserting the dividers, cover them in patterned paper. I wrapped the cardboard like a present and used sellotape to seal each end.

Step Four: Cover the Dividers

If you’ve made the dividers just the right size, they should fit snugly in. I secured mine with four small pieces of sellotape.
