Making Customized Name Crayons

This tutorial will show you how to easily upcycle those discarded broken crayons into personalized name crayons that you’ll feel proud to give as gifts.

Materials Needed

– Oven – Old broken wax crayons – Baking parchment – Regular baking tray – Silicone alphabet baking mold

Step 1: Remove the paper from your broken crayons

The first step of this project is by far the most annoying bit – taking all the paper off!

Step 2: Fill your letters

This step is where it starts to get fun.  You get to choose what colorr you want for each letter of the name you are doing.

Step 3: Bake

Once my letters were all filled, I placed the alphabet baking mold on top of a regular baking tray with some baking parchment on it. I baked them at 135° C for 15 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the letters from your mold

The last step is to remove the letters from the alphabet baking mold once they have completely cooled.
