Every wanted to try your hand at macrame? Maybe you’ve been a bit intimidated by all the different types of knots there are to learn?
Well you’ve come to the right place for easy macrame projects that will start you off and help you build your skills before tackling a more complicated macrame project!
I reached out to my blogger friends to give me their best beginner projects for wannabe macrame crafters. You can make macrame planters, wall hangings, ornaments and even jewellery using these fun beginner tutorials.
Many of these tutorials already use upcycled materials like old t-shirts and men’s shirts, but for the ones that don’t you can easily substitute out new materials for upcycled ones and follow along just the same!

This might be one of my favourites. Really easy, really trendy and totally does the job of dressing up an old boring mirror that isn't getting you excited.

This is a macrame wall hanging on a different scale. Usually they are longer than they are wide but this one is more of a 'landscape' style wall hanging. Maybe for over a fireplace?
This one is more for a confident beginner.
